RRS's oil exploration project in Puntland is an enormous one which requires some patience. The Drill site is real, and social relations to the locals are real.
The previous years were turbulent times for Range Resources, because it was a time of early development. RRS has entered a new era now, and it appears to be prepared to deliver value to its shareholders. This goal will be achieved by complying to business ethics as a result of being under the spotlight.
RRS shareholder funds are spent on essential resources required to undertake exploration activities. The concept of profit for shareholders can only be revealed when there is a higher level of confidence felt for the goods to be delivered. There is no evidence that Peter Landau and his crew are popping two thousand dollar bottles of wine every night. They are busy focussing on the oil exploration project for the interest of the TFG government and its civilians as well as current RRS shareholders.
The theme of '4C' was simply to expose corrupt activities associated with Brett Kebble and John Stratton. It raised public awareness about deceptive conduct in the mining industry where people like Kebble and Stratton are in control. The dynamics of power and control in RRS currently have no direct association with Kebble or Stratton.
Good times ahead for RRS and the oil exploration program in Puntland.
