Hi Ballsup , although we would ALL like to be in the know on the whys and hows of the boards and managements decisions the simple fact is that they cannot ( and should not ) divulge their gameplan .
I'm sure if in a perfect world they could tell us all of the big picture plans and we'd all keep it just to ourselves ( only for ANW investors to know ) then they would, but as you and everyone else knows anytime they make an announcement its out there for all the world ( including competitors ) to know and dissect.
I'm not saying they are geniuses who have some incredible grand plan to make us all mega rich that they cant let the opposition know of but there are always things in any business management groups that HAVE to be held close to the chest. When we invest in a company we do so knowing full well that we will only ever find out any "gamechanging" decisions ( to the positive or negative ) AFTER the ball has started rolling and thats just how it has to be .
As for the 7% , i have no issue with them asking questions and wanting answers but i think it is counterproductive to then go on to talk about forcing board spills ( as was touted ) and wasting big money just because they feel they deserve better. We would ALL like better comms and that is not in dispute but to then put management to the flame when they have a TH in place and we await news was just bloodyminded considering if we waited a few extra days we'd have a few more facts on the whys' and hows'.
Am i happy about more dilution ...NO , am i happy with no sales yet ...NO , but i invested here with the current management in place because i trusted them and for whatever reason i still trust them to do whats best for us all , they stand to win/lose a lot more money than most of us and i trust them to be greedy enough to want to get maximum profit in the long run.
Accountability may be what the 7% want ( and deserve ) but sometimes we just have to wait and wait and wait ....... i've said it before and i'll say it again , the options are clear buy / sell / hold and what each of us chooses is up to no-one but ourselves .
