nearly 9pm here and still nice and light. have actually had a good day in the garden. some time out there yesterday too. feel good for that. appetite is back and have eaten like, well made up for the past month. next few days will be good. mrs 40 rang me a few days ago, a bit upset. a great friend here has had heaps of problems, is not well and never gets anything much re her birthday. i had a day arranged to take her and others out for mine but pulled when i rec news of the bond fund. not too sure what was happening at the time. not really now either ! back on an even keel sort of, i got in touch with some pals here and 'told' maribel she WAS coming out on thurs. so that will be good. sat, another lady friend of ours will bring over her big wash load and we'll lunch locally whilst it's wizzin around. this lady lives on a huge area of land and has many animals. plus wild ones from foxes to parrots to even a black panther. the parrots are free to fly about. the panther has been living in the area at least 8 yrs now. few know about it thankfully. it's believed to have been released from either a circus or poss some idiot who took it on as a small cat ! anyway, many sightings have been made. one on the edge of a local persons swimming pool. the lady with the land also has a big wide stream flowing thro her land. the panther comes to drink. nicks the chickens too i reckon, cos they're free to roam and our friend 'gemmi' keeps on replacing them. gemmi has night binos to watch the wild life. ex theatre nurse. ex motorhomer. now lives alone. she a loner, just like 40.
