The reality is that if folk stopped speculating in gold, a selfish hedge against inflation - obviously being hoarded by your non - altruistic self, same with art,and trading in cos, what does that make you sunshine but an infestor in property of a different nature.Art is to be enjoyed, if not to be enjoyed where is your moral integrity you would be judge of others.
If governments, private individuals, investors, built more homes, railed against greedy developers and governments and supplied adequate housing prices will plateau and in time become affordable and sustain growth that is acceptable. As long as we don't build there will be shortage in this country for time to come.
In the meantime what do you offer society - please get off this site and let that be your contribution to humanity.
