I am ABSOLUTELY GOBSMACKED if two (exploration) companies, like AIS and ARE, did not know this seemingly probable case. My guess would have been, some apprentice undergrad on their placement would know of the aquifers being there. Now, how they did not plan to deal with it further GOBSMACKS me - unless this is not all being explained well.
