The Lifx experience, page-9

You know how you go to Bunnings and come home with a lot more stuff than you intended? Well, that happened to me!

I started with a colour mini from Officeworks a few weeks ago and was very impressed with both the light and the app. JB HiFi then bundled a white mini with a Google mini, so I got that too.

Then on Friday I dropped in at Bunnings and all LIFX products were 20% off until the end of April. I really couldn't help myself, so I bought a set of 5 Tiles, a Beam and 8 colour minis (half screw, half bayonet). Sadly, they had no Z strips in stock, so I had to go without, for now!

All up I spent about $1,000 on lights. Possibly excessive, but as I bask in the glow of my Tiles on the "Fire" setting and "feel the serenity", I figure what the hell! In fact, I may need 3 more sets of Tiles: for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom! These lights are fantastic and I've had zero issues with the lights or the app. They're great as dimmable room lights with a full range of warm to cool whites and if you still get a kick out of fireworks you will get a kick out of the colours.

I'll leave it up to the directors to decide whether my purchase warrants an ASX announcement and to the Chicken Little's and the Merchants of Doom out there, please don't bother telling me that discounting means disaster.

As an aside, the buy side has looked better over the last 3 days than it has for a long time!
