Your referred article IMO is direct commentary towards the 500 E/V Manufacturing Start-ups.
I would be quiet confident the comentary about future battery demand, as shown below, would not consider the demand of a “start up” in gauging requirements, just as they have not taken into account the growth in wider sector uptake (busses, aircraft, boats etc).

Im open to hearing your further thoughts on the issue, as qualified contrarian views are always appreciated.
