Yes environmental issues are involved in all mining projects, but sometime they make a project unviable.
What I am really trying to do is get a good answer to why Sorby Hills has not been mined in the past as it appears to be a very good resource. I am very skeptical of well drilled projects that have been kicking around for a long time and want to know why. Sometimes it is bad luck or bad management, but in many cases I have found that the project has some hard-to-find factor that makes it unviable.
