I'm only guessing but maybe they didn't feel comfortable including the 72m/t because they are about to do a resource upgrade to make it a JORC resource? This would be in line with their annoucement as that would be related to JORC compliance matters on previously announced estimates of mineralisation as the previous mineralisation isn't JORC compliant to todays standards yet. It's worded in a strange way though but maybe that's the way that they talk?
