At least they tried to build some kind of progress into Christianity, failed attempt that it is.

Christianity is moribund, it carps away with the same old story in a world it is totally out of step with. Sure it hangs on in Third World countries because of a lack of education, but nothing can save it. It becomes more irrelevant with each passing day.
