    Notre-Dame

After viewing all the posts on this matter, it would appear I'm going to be an odd ball out on this one for which I am astounded?

It appears there is effectively a lot of crying and weeping over a bleeping building which raises what I consider some serious questions, considering the overall and simple message of the Bible, the word of God.

Where and how in God's name does a building of such expense and glamour etc serve or fit in with the key message of God and the Bible and Jesus, the son of for that matter?
    Am I missing something here?
It and it's fanfare, appears very much like and Idol, to me.
After Jesus, the people are supposed to be the dwelling place, Temple for God, buildings not built with hands and Jesus was the forerunner for this.
He was the Temple for which the Almighty God and Father of him --> The Word, the One God as in One apple, to dwelt in.
People are supposed to be The Church, Jesus being the Cornerstone and head of it.

As the saying goes --> God only knows,....well,.....on this one it would seem more fitting -- the Devil only knows wink.png
