Is it in your interest to see it? Are you willing to seriously question the the teachings of your faith, or do you just accept them?

Nobody knows what the ultimate nature of reality is. There are at least ten interpretations of Quantum, some probabilistic, some deterministic. Even a definition of what constitutes an 'observer' is problematic.....superposition (if that is the actual case) in a lab may collapse from the vibrations of a truck passing on the street. We of course are an inseparable part of the World.

Or, are we looking at the thorn bush and thinking "those roses are beautiful"?
The World is neither good or evil, it what it is regardless of how we see it.
The problems, and the contradictions, come from the teachings of Religion.
On the one hand we are told: "God is love." - 1 John 4:8
1 Corinthians 13; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.''
The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. << Psalm 145:9 >>
Then we are told:
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; Nahum 1:2
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers. Isaiah 14:21
Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them. Ezekiel 8:18
The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, ... their land shall be soaked with blood, ... For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance. Isaiah 34:7-8
I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me...Exodus 20:55
There lies the contradictions and absurdities.
