Another delay is a unfortunate but a extremely predictable outcome, a opportunity missed by our Indian partners to get this signed before the elections of which the timing was known in 2016. The articulation of ECT that this deal is still supported by both Indian partners needs to step up and reciprocated to avoid further jitters by Shareholders. I am curious to see how the next announcement will be worded and what timelines will be presented. If the election causes the Indian Partners to be in caretaker mode its going to be hard to progress anything including meaningful commitments and timelines. If the new Finance director is now causing further delay's by needing to get up to speed amongst is even more worrying given this project was never prioritised in the first place.

As a shareholder I do expect a announcement today given the 22nd is a Monday, if there is no news it would only be respectful to share this now and provide a way forward with the suspension.

The previous announcement on boilers or frankly small revenue streams in Victoria are not the reason why shareholders have been propping up ECT through the ELF, the INDIA deal is the main game by a factor of 100. Those who are understand the risk and return equation would never ever speculate on domestic only.
