I felt that all this is because we have failed in educating our young on what it is meant by capitalism. Our schools and education don't teach our kids anymore about this and prefers the Lefty/greenie/socialist/communist utopia. Labor is merely exploiting this and simply "tax the rich". WIth all these SMSF/FC policy. Article I posted pointed to expert saying there needs to be "certainty" as Super is a long term investment plan and has material effect when you reach old age, like many of us. Its a good system, we might have a recession soon, but it also show how well it has in getting people to be self sufficient in their old age for the last 28 years. The long term consequences of this is that we loss investment, like what you've said about Labor FC policy, in our own country/society. This is very sad.

As examplified when I was asked, "Why do you invest in TLS".
me: "To invest in good Australian company so they can be great for the country."
"But that means you will get rich as well!"
me: "That is how capitalism WORKS!"

Most people on the street has no idea how SUper works, or how it should work to their benefit!
