There's an old saying (which I just made up ) : "I hope all those Priests, Mullah's and Rabbi's are right about the existence of God or they've been accepting donations under false pretenses." Frankly, I'm not convinced. But what I am convinced of is there is no place for religion in the politics of a secular country like Australia, or any other modern, democratic country. When you bring 'make believe' entities into politics, it distorts the process.
