Right, they don't have equal opportunity and that is correct, no debating that. There are many facets to that, one facet of opportunity is the area of intellect, that is the direct physical capability of the human brain. It governs specifically how much that particular person could potentially learn and understand. Our society has both formal and informal filters in place in order to separate the less capable with the more capable.
Formal filter such as but not limited to educational institutions.
Informal filter such as but not limited to investment vehicles.
What is there to argue? People who are poor tend to have traits that may include lower relative intellectual capability that renders them uncompetitive in comparison to other people.
So how to give people equal opportunity? It is impossible to do so. Equal to what?
So then our society have two choices, let merits get rewarded or don't. Either have United states or Venezuela.
