I think given the lenghty battles over the Genting businesses between Joey's side of the family and his Uncle's, probably would rule out 'the full force' of the Genting business assisting. In terms of face saving being the reason, I think the ship has sailed on that.
Just to check, you do know Joey and Ben Lim have been disputing the trust deeds/will and suing the Uncle, Genting CEO, for years right? Why on Earth would Genting bail out DNA, not least now when the lim equity is lost.
