I heard that interview - it's drawing a long bow to justify this header imho - he just dumps words onto the interviewer and he gave no indication to me that this particular policy change ( picked up as a disaster on HC the day after the budget by the way) would be amended.

He is the most slippery PM ever - he never pauses in his word dumps and is the master of deflection - he claims that the budget was tough as some sort of defence to this rebate disaster for the industry, as if people will undersrtand that it's all part of taking the tough decisions - puke. He claims the 22b surplus as some sort of wonderfull achievment rather than a simple inheritance from the previous government, actually increases spending and seems to think that inflation needs to be controlled by killing off the economy.

He's a fraud.
