Erected to perpetuate the memory of soldiers from Goulburn & District who served in the Boer war 1899 - 1902. Unveiled 14th November, 1904, W.R. Costley, Mayor.For love of the Motherland, that grew with years, and faltered not in death. Soon rested, those who fought.
