Cant see any problem in investigating potential of these tenements to diversify options .

Its not like they are spending tens of millions. Based on the results shown, i would pull the pin on the gold and focus on the copper, which may warrant further investigation. True rock chip analysis isn't the be all in determining whats in the area, but is an indicator of some potential, so lets get some idea on what is under that area and progress steadily, always keeping focus that lithium is their main game.
Personally like the fact they are exploring a bit on the side.
I think SP is trading this way solely on lithium sector weakness.
