Actually the person who is attempting to be Presidential is Clive Palmer. He has released a swathe of strong policies on various issues.
He is featuring on thirty million dollars plus of paid advertising, and thinks he will become a kingmaker this election.
I don't think he has a sincere bone in his body so I don't trust him to deliver any of his policies unless it's one that suits him and his interests.
And I think most people see him in much the same light as I do.
So this this election will be a test of how much a massive advertising campaign can influence voters.
