The Dec 2018 announcement indicated that some items have deadline on 31/03 whist others on 30/06.
Do you know the 4 outstanding items are the ones completely missing the deadline or to be implemented by June? Are we expecting all issues are completely resoloved today before June?
If this independent reviewer is formed within the company as you suggested, why does it make such recommendations to APRA knowing it is not completed yet? The 2018 announcement also referred to an independent expert investigation, which will be due in June,
Considering there are only 4 outstanding items to be completed, I assume they will be all completed by June, Today's announcement did not mention there will be a challenge to complete before the deadline, it stated they have made significant progress.
I don't know the price of the ANZ deal is good or bad in the current market. I assume if the deal proceed eventually, it will clear a lot of uncertainties around the company.
The SP is down today but not at a very high volume, I don't feel it was a panic selling? Whoever need to push SP down by end of the month could also play a factor.
It is good to see the company and APRA agreed to have the deadline in June, so APRA is still working with the company instead of killing it .
