When I began on HC I too was amazed at the amount of posts certain people would write.

From many of these posts I have gained a truck load of knowledge of the stocks I hold. I also learn thoughts and game plans of traders, whether it is long or short term.

When playing with real money people tend to become excited, passionate and extremely hopeful their share will head in an upwards direction. Yet, majority of investers realise they may not necessarily buy in at the low points the share. This is never a drama if the stock has great fundamentals and a future.

I have used the last 6 months to accumulate SDL and finally I am in the green, however I have never been concerned as I am an invester, therefore seeing the potential of what time will produce.

Those that have bought in the high 40s have no need to be laughed at as they shall have the last laugh.

Some of these called experts as you put it are running the company you are invested. Remember Talbot has bought at 40c.


The main thing I have learnt is research research research.
