Wary1, to answer your 2-part question: "So what happens when those shares are gone? How does the selling trend maintain momentum after that?"
Answer: the likes of LT holders like me that are trying to preserve capital will continue to offload losing positions.
As has been said many times before: "the market can stay irrational for longer than my funds remain in tact"
My "funds" (read capital) has taken a huge hit over recent times and there's little chance of recovery over the immediate short term. Sentiment (in Li stocks) is sh#t and the deep pocket brigade out there are being as ruthless as they can be to maximise their own wealth.
That $1.40 price prophecy is looking like a reality now!!
Momentum is not going to change any time soon based on all the information out there. we need something from left field or our investments are going to be worthless.
