    It's a enviornmental issue..

    $$$$$$$$ - get with the program!

    It's about $$$s and the politics of envy - they were spending far too much and the evil rich have been getting the subsidy. When push comes to shove this government is all about symbolism (Kyoto, whales, apology, troops "out" of Iraq followed by ticker tape parades, fuel watch etc)
