I suppose there is no hope for some

first off you complain about this forum being polarised and a slanging match, we will not mention the vast bulk of the slanging appears to be coming for the property permabull side

Then you go on with statements like

Assuming those with negative views are renters and that their opinions are based on idelogical dogma or vague untested theories

Then start raving on about philanthropy, implying that those with negative views are not only renters but renters who are after charity.

    LOL

There is no hope for some

One very basic fundamental that can not ne avoided with residential property, regardless who much guys like you want to ignore it's existance

It must remain affordable, this is not some idealisic socialist view, it is not people wanting something for nothing, it has nothing to do with charity it is reality, people MUST be able to afford to feed cloth and put a roof over their head. If this does not happen the economic and social problems that will result will affect everyone.

The property boom over the last 6 or so years has pushed affordability to the extreme and it is not sustainable.

This relates to both home buyers and renters.
