S-Max produces less amorphous silica than sodium silicate. I believe the tonnage is about 7t of amorphous silica produced per tonne of lithium chemical. So roughly half as much volume.

It also drops the need for caustic soda from the process, which results in some savings.

I suspect the quantities of hydrated lime will also have been increased for LOH-Max, but don't know for certain.

And that cost of concentrate should hopefully be lower, as that pricing was based on buying it at a discount to spodumene rather than mining ourselves. And also should be partially offset by the feldspar concentrate that looks likely to be sold from the mine as well.

You can see why I want to see the FS....there's been a lot of changes since that PFS was done.
