Now neither you nor she can provide a scrap of evidence to support her contention that a small minority of residents is opposed to fracking. Her ex- employers own polling actually showed at its last outing that a large minority opposed to it (33%) and a small minority supporting it (15%).

As she has just contradicted her own ex-employer's evidence and there is no poll in existence which supports her claim that "they are heavily outnumbered by people who want the benefits fracking could bring", it really is not unreasonable to question this statement.
Now if you have something which answers that question put it here or stop being so tedious.
As to

You seem to be trying to claim that because there is no evidence that they did or did not object this means they must have objected. This is about as intelligent as saying that as there is no evidence that you didn't fly to the moon last week you must have done so.
Again I would ask you to back up your assertion that she is correct in stating that "At the time, geologists and the industry fiercely objected" with some evidence.
If you can't (and I know you can't) stop digging.
