I have worked for 5 companies that have been purchased or merged by larger companies. I have heard what you are saying many times. Never once have seen the mass exodus predicted. In fact in four of the cases all critical people were their years later. The last company was raided by a by a start up company for people and about 20% left about 18 months after purchase. AL may hate what is happening but she has loyalty to people and what is Lynas to day. If WES wants her they will give her the package she wants and that includes protection for key people not just money. She will stay as much to protect the people and systems she created as for any bonuses. Your thinking key people will exit in mass in protest, just does not match what I have seen. Even if they do not like WES they will stay while they look for somthing better. IT is in their DNA to work hard till they leave. People are optimistic they will stay if offered a position. WES will dump the board but others will still be their.
