You may be right. All I know is that the 9 April company update which describes the terms of the GOM negotiations in some detail says, as you quote: "Advance payments and financial assurance for payments to be agreed for the project, but initially SAS has paid GomSpace EUR 550,000 on signing of the HoA to allow GomSpaceto initiate activity."

It could be that the new contract with GOM is as simple as "pay us before we start" but I get the feeling that it's "we need to know you're financially stable before we sign and we want money today to keep the assembly line running." I suspect the 550 is just for the term of the HoA. If SAS want to go beyond Mar 8 then they need to pay more on March 8. To pay GOM in advance on March 8 they need, according to the prospectus, $7.2m. Of that $7.2, $3.1m goes to GOM and $1.6 goes to other suppliers and the Polish operation (I think). Then there is $2.3m, enough to run the business on vapors for about 6 months while they secure more financing (either equity or debt, I suppose) to pay for the launch.

Of course, SAS won't know if they have $7.2m until the 16th (or a day or two later) which is well past the Mar 8 date for GO. I suppose that it's no skin off GOM's nose to shutdown the production line and extend the March 8 signing deadline a couple weeks to see the result of the supplementary prospectus process, so I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen (or for it not to me mentioned publicly but happen anyways). If, instead, GOM pull out of the HoA on March 8 then I reckon it's game over. So that wouldn't be announced either, I suppose. Tough to say though. It was a deadline published in a release so perhaps SAS needs to address it, but maybe they can sit on it for a week until the CR process is complete.
