I’ve beenresearching the nearology brine plays in the lithium triangle. The best way to look at the ground they have is import an image of their tenement maps into Google earth, to see exactly where the ground sits in relation to the salar, especially elevation versus the salar elevation. Looking at LKE’s Olaroz and Cauchari ground I dismissed it as moose pasture, well back from the salar and at much higher elevations, the majority of area is steep mountains. So I kept getting confused seeing the pics of the rig 500m from LAC’s drill hole and the black line indicating the tenement edge near the salar margin. Have finally worked it out, if you zoom in and squint at their tenement map, see page 4 of the April 18 update, there’s a tiny appendage maybe 50m wide that juts about 1km towards the salar margin. They’ve gone to the end of this slither of ground to drill the current hole and take pics of LAC’s borehole. Among other things it means the black line indicating their tenement boundary is blatantly misleading. Any resource calc that does come out of this drill hole, if it does hit something at 350m, will be constrained to a tiny area. Also explains why you’d run a geophysics line that is mostly on someone else’s tenement.

While I’mat it, for the Kachi project how the hell can they put an exploration target onthe area beneath a volcano. So a geologist reckons a volcano is floating on brine bearing lake sediments? Would be interesting to see who signed off on that.

This sortof stuff gives the exploration sector a bad name.
