Coming from a pharmaceutical / pharmacological background, if microbes construct a protective shield and the NXS technology can largely destroy this shield, then the sky is the limit for NXS (assuming all relevant patents etc. are in place).
Antibiotic resistant microorganisms threatened to change (and have already done so to a large extent) the way we treat infections and invasive procedures..
Think about hospitals no longer in fear of Staph and other like opportunistic bacteria etc.
NXS science could be a game changer in many ways.
