Karouni had wild swings in production. The bottleneck is the mill, ca. 210k to 230k tonnes per quarter. The production they get is mainly a factor of grade. Yet the tonnage they put into the mill is a better indicator of how good they have worked. In that regards the March quarter (and everything that happened with doing the cut-back) really was spectacular.
If OC has 5-6 g/t and only OC ore is treated Troy will produce 40k ounces per quarter. Operations would basically stay the same, main differences the trucking distance being much longer (remember, just for the ore, waste is dumped near the pit) and likely a lower strip ratio.
That would provide Troy with very "healthy" margins.
Of course it makes sense to blend OC ore with lower grade ore to prolong mine life and before mining OC Troy will mine a small outcropping part currently drilling with the scout drill.
