Had the same trouble with my aging Staffies, getting constipated etc. I found this informative site helpful regarding dry dog food, what they say regarding what dogs should be eating makes sense to me, and I settled for the Healthy Everyday Pets brand from Pete Evans. My dogs love it, I mix it with a little water to make a yummy gravy and easier to digest.
