I have enjoyed your comments and input over the years! There's been plenty of ups and downs for me as well. I did buy some in the 80s in late 2002 only to see the sp fall inexplicably even after the Banda discovery - the cause being the dreaded "placement" at 70 cents. When they went to 40 cents when the market was down in March 2003 I was holding some too - but happily I started buying again as soon as I was sure it was recovering - around 45 I think, and I have kept buying ever since (real shares and heaps of CFDs). Its been a frustrating time even lately when the market didn't react to the 2003 discoveries - only belatedly getting excited in the last month. But I just kept buying.

Now that HDR has gone up $1.00 in just under a year I am very pleased to be able to let go of all that tension (all the waiting for it to happen) and concentrate on how to spend all the $s (I may even have to think up some tax minimisation strategies - like putting heaps into super this year).

Where's that lemon!
