I can't believe the whinging here. I was nervous before reading the announcement that it may be an issue to a select few that would dilute most holders. I am however over the moon that all shareholders can participate in this, and get options issued. Yes the price is cheap but I see that as rewarding existing holders, if you participate you don't get diluted! Fanciful thinking that it would be an issue at a premium. That may happen a bit further down the track when we are more advanced.

Even having the record date a few days later at least gives holders who wouldn't normally be able to participate a chance to sell some so they can. I've actually put a buy order in this morning on the back of this!
