As part of Lepidico’s due diligence of Desert Lion a comprehensive due diligence was undertaken, which included a legal review of tenure and any potential cases against the company. In summary, the tenements are in good standing and there is good support for the project at a local and national level. Quite often frivolous claims get made in an attempt to gain some form of compensation, wherever one is operating in the world. I was on the due diligence team that went to Namibia on behalf of Lepidico and am comfortable with the local situation.
