Agree, the decision has been made by half a trillion dollar investment/risk in EV's by the automakers.
I believe by 2030, not a single ICE vehicle will be made because nobody will want one. Like nobody wants a typewriter, or a camera with film!
In Europe, up to 90% reduction in fuel cost and almost zero maintenance, what is not to like?
They make sense not just environmentally, but economically too. Benchmark Minerals are now tracking 170 so called gigafactories to supply the batteries, and the nickel, cobalt and lithium needed has not been secured.
Class 1 Nickel demand predicted by Bloomberg to grow 42 times by 2030.
