didn't realise that he must have also halted the buy-back back in March so he could help himself to some cheap shares, but didn't make an announcement about doing that. Certainly puts himself before shareholders.
a few years ago, Braitling followed Wilson's lead by raising some extra funds with a placement to "sophisticated" investors and financial institutions only, at a discount to the current share price.
difference was, all of Wilson's funds were trading at a good premium, so his placement was nta accretive. Braitling's issue price was less than nta.
