Redflex only announce after the contract is signed, very conservative but probably sometimes wise to prevent other suppliers whiteanting particularly where the contract is sole source and may not be known to other suppliers.
The good news is that RTS has already been selected in a number of other cities like Greenville, I've seen another 5 across 3 states with three of those in California where Redflex seem to have a stranglehold.
They obviously now have a large pipeline of pending deals in various stages of completion. With a number of the larger US states now looking at passing RLC legislation the next couple of years will see an explosion of potential business.
