I get the election coverage but most of the news flow on my screens is to do with how it relates to RBA bias and financial stuff...today I was reading about opposition leader's appeal to the younger voters on tax issues.

Being away takes away some of the context you need to fully appreciate what is going on...and of course the situation here is like some soul sucking vortex but I will be keeping a close eye on things the next weeks.
