I have noticed that St George margin lending tends to keep these impaired stocks on their list a lot longer than the others. Why that is, I have no idea.

The people who get screwed by these changes are the people with single-stock portfolios. Some of them simply have an unwise investment strategy. Others tend to be execs of the company they have stock in.
