Definitely there are risks. I pressed on FGO and magnified my losses. Confidence has a lot to do with things...
When I read posts in the threads they are mostly optimistic... I think you have to be that way to get involved in the first place. Blundering away money with misplaced confidence is confronting... it forces one to do some self examination. That part of the experience is compensation for the money.
