re: blueballs Congratulations again.

Blueballs please take heart and ignore the knockers.
Whilst our investment style differs a lot ... once again that was one of the best posts I have read on HC.

Please ignore the detractors and people questioning your motives. Go to the feed back forum and on the 23/1/04 ... read the post about "idiot posters on HC' ...note the names I listed under the LUM faithful and I suspect these are the ones having a go at you now. Do a search of the person having a go at you and see if they are a LUM faithful ... I suspect you may find they are !!!! I believe your post is not just about LUM ... its about HC as a whole and investment styles and strategy ... Your style compared to mine is biased to a more risky stance ...thats ok we all are different ... at present I have 8 % of my total portfolio in companies I consider highly spec ... 3% in a tiny one and 5% in a HC favourite ... no prizes for that one.

At some stage someone somewhere has to call a halt to the crap posted about some companies on HC .... unfortunately some people actually take note and buy the shares ... and get burnt. When the US Nasdaq hit 5,000 a few years ago ... brokers were calling 10,000 with in 2 years ... very very few brokers had any sell recomendations ... brokers earn a fair amout of their income from the comapnies they recommend through issuing stock/ debt for them ... so despite what they really may think ... to keep the business from the comapny they may keep their recommendations higher than would normally be the case. HC is a forum ... however we seem to operate the same way ... anyone who posts a negative on a company ... well they get abused. Companies go up and go down ... at certain times they are both a sell and a buy.

Please Keep posting ... I took Oak off ignore to see what he said ..... If you read my post in the feedback forum .... Oak is one of the LUM faithful .....

When you are attacked ... most times it is like a child hitting out. They hold the shares ... and at a loss ... the current namecalling you are getting I would equate to temper tantrums by children !!! Of course it is your fault the shares are down here !!!! Not !!!!

Just keep on posting .... put them on ignore if they upset you ....

On a final note .... what was the broker who had a report LUM was a buy at 70 cents ??? Do they do any work for LUM ????
