I tend to agree with you Hey2 and not just because you are holding out the tantalizing prospect of 24 hours of binging on Bintangs .....whatever they might be. By its very name I think one would floor me. No there are certainly cases where a change of name and makeover can be beneficial to leave some bad vibes or disasters in the past and start afresh and in a new direction. In the case of HDY however I don't think that step is necessary. Why ?
firstly the company has a new BOD. Any negative sentiments about HDY because of the performance of the old BOD can be tossed aside or erased by the knowledge/information that that bad phase has been erased with the eradication of the old BOD.
secondly HDY basically still has the same prospects in its pack as it had previously (with a bit of a question mark over what is to happen with Nelly Vanadium + the other one) So it is not changing direction or prospect focus really but it is getting on with testing what it has.
thirdly if the BOD can get onto the drilling phase and can find something worthwhile and provide that information with a bit of a splash then that will achieve the desired result of removing or lessening any past stigma associated with the name HDY.
Surely it is better to show that the company has been rescued and saved from its wayward past and is now forging ahead with a new BOD at the helm. Just my opinion as I have no shares in HDY.
