In regard to Force Majeure: I do believe from information already available in the public domain that AOI(include range) did there due diligence on the legality of their exploration and development rights in Somalia.
Experienced African explorer spending $50m and not doing their due diligence......now thats bs

Also Rupe could you please provide the Aggip and or Conaco docs that state that their contracts have any claim. They claimed Force Majeure over 17 years ago. How long was their contractual obligation to Somalia for exploration and drilling? I'm yet to see an exploration agreement that's over 17years, sure they may exist but bludy rare.....

Example: Mauritania and Hardman Resources. Prior to Force Majeure in Mauritania 1991 Exxon Mobile had the offshore rights. Taken over by Hardman in 1996 with a stable government in place since 1994. Stable government yet the majors still didn't want to come back. You say the Italians are still interested in Somalia. Remember the Fauklands Islands "War" the Italians surrended!....as the joke goes.....They wave a white flag when a car back fires.

And as I understand Force Majeure, the previous concession holders have first right of refusal. I believe they have refused. That's why AOI were willing to join the party.

And on a personal note I do believe you are only trying to provoke debate and for people to find answers to their own questions on their investment and not have blind faith.
