Re nameplate production:
...“Process plant improvement throughout the quarter has resulted in consistent production of ~14,000 tonnes per month of spodumene, with weekly periods nearing nameplate targets..”

That sounds a bit better than 87%?
...Especially if you add in the comment from the ‘commercial production’ announcement 0f March 13, where it says the production in March was averaging 95% of nameplate.

To repeat the relevant quote: .... “Production in March to date has averaged 612tpd, or 95% of nameplate with a maximum of 705 tonnes produced within a 24-hour period.”..

According to google maths genie, 612 is 95% of 644.21.... so AJM needs to average 645 tons a day to achieve nameplate ?
...And has already have proved it can go way over that (has recorded 705 tonnes)
.....And has further improved the crushing system and more?


Production, as shown in thumbnail from quarterly , was impacted by Cyclone Veronica but

...“Mining targets were achieved for the quarter despite the time lost to Severe Tropical Cyclone Veronica, which caused some disruption in late March and resulted in a loss of approximately 2,750 tonnes of production.”

That’s a loss of about 4.25 days of nameplate production (assuming 645tpd equals nameplate tpd *)?


Anyway given how close they were before, and the improvements, and the fact Veronica was more than seven weeks ago, it seems to me that if Altura is not already at nameplate it’s because it is pacing itself or something else has interfered with production.

So there may be an announcement soon ?

(*But then my maths is crooked as I already said)
