I think that there are a lot of undecided voters who make up their mind on the day.
If they vote one way it can be a landslide.
This time they seem to have cancelled each other out to maintain the status quo.
Personally I thought it was a lacklustre campaign with a mediocre result.
Labor went over the top with a socialist agenda.
Morrison saying don't vote for Bill Shorten.
It looks like being a similar outcome to 2016 when a small Coalition majority was considered a disaster.
Now it's celebrated as a miracle.
Looking forward, I wonder if this win will result in a Coalition Government more focused on the electorate rather than bickering amongst themselves.
Policy wise I want debt paid down as a main concern.
