Sigh, mate if all people 'knew' the compensation around the caring sector, the country would be falling apart mate. 1/4 in Australian's end up with a Disability, you never know, you could be one of those people one day (touch wood), and if not you, chances are it will be somebody close to you. Any idea why there is Royal Comission into the Disability sector? Cause you get f*wits entering the sector, and not the talented staff with the interpersonal, empathy, and patience skills because of the 'compensation'.
Anyway, I hear your point in regards to moving Rural. My kids moved to Darwin, a circa 40+ hour drive up north. It is a shame, but apparently they are loving up there, I would be happy to pass on my LI C's to my children eventually when I kick on.
Good luck to you mate
