Here's the gap statistics:-


Approx 67% close the same day

Another 20% close within the first 30 days

Another 5% close eventually

And 8% Never Close


Breakaway gaps and Runaway gaps make up the majority of the never close statistics.

Will isx's current breakaway gap close? Got a very good chance that it won't, based on the quality and quantity of short term news flow hitting the market, keeping the sp momentum trending upward.

The gap @23 you mentioned, would now (you'd hope) be in the 8% never close category.

Time will reveal all!
